Our Mission and Vision

At the Ezidi Youth Association, we envision a vibrant and united community where the voices of Ezidi youth are heard, respected, and celebrated. We strive to empower the next generation to embrace their cultural heritage, foster mutual understanding, and contribute to a diverse, inclusive society. Through advocacy, education, and support, our vision is to ensure that Ezidi youth are equipped with the tools to thrive, preserve their identity, and build a future filled with hope, justice, and opportunity for all members of the Ezidi community.

Our team is comprised of passionate individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences. We bring together a wealth of knowledge and skills to achieve our goals and make a positive impact in our community.

We facilitate the local integration of the Ezidi community into Australian society through cultural, educational, and social activities. Our key initiatives include:

• Raising awareness and advocating for the rights and needs of the Ezidi people.
• Preserving the culture, language, and religious heritage of the Ezidi community.
• Allocating resources for essential community infrastructure, such as a funeral/wedding hall and a graveyard.
• Promoting awareness of Australian laws and health topics among Ezidi youth.
• Encouraging cross-community exchanges to foster understanding and connection.
• Supporting elderly members with activities suited to their needs.
• Engaging with the community to listen to concerns and respond to evolving needs.
